Solicitors/Peddlers/Mobile Ice Cream Vendors Licenses

Any person proposing to engage in peddling, soliciting or in the business of a transient merchant in this village must fist obtain a license. To print out the application, please click HERE

Charitable/Polictical/Religious Solicitor's Application within the Right-of-Way (intersections)

A License is required at no charge for solicitations for charitable, political, or religious purposes. Public Right-of-Way Solicitation License Eligibility.  The only individuals or entities permitted to apply for and obtain a license for solicitation in the public right-of-way, are individuals or entities who solicit funds for patriotic, philanthropic, charitable, political or religious purposes. To print out the application, please click HERE

Approval for Signs and Facade Modifications

A Cerficiate of Appropriateness is required for certain signage, façade modifications and new developments in all zoning districts: 

1. A Certificate of Appropriateness must be obtained from the Architectural Commission (ARC). 
2. Please contact Martha at 847-546-5400 to schedule a meeting before the Architectural Commission. 
3. A Building Permit must also be obtained from the Building Department.
