Business License Application Packet
The Village of Round Lake requires any new business or a re-locating business within the Village to complete the Business License Registration Application Packet. Please CLICK HERE to print out the application packet.

Please note that currently, there are no application fees; however, we are requiring interested parties to complete the application form. The Village will provide an approval or denial letter upon review of the application form.

Solicitors/Peddlers/Mobile Ice Cream Vendors Licenses
Any person proposing to engage in peddling, soliciting or in the business of a transient merchant in this village must fist obtain a license. To print out the application, please click HERE.

Taxi Cab Licenses

Approval for Signs and Facade Modifications
In addition to a business license, two approvals are required for signage, façade modifications and new developments in all zoning districts:
- A Certificate of Appropriateness must be obtained from the Architectural Commission (ARC).
- Please contact Martha at 847-546-5400 to schedule a meeting before the Architectural Commission.
- A Building Permit must be obtained from the Building Department.
