Employee Salaries and Benefits

Per Public Act 097-0609, any employer participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement fund must, within 6 business days after approving a budget, post on its website the total compensation package for each employee having a total compensation package that exceeds $75,000 per year. 

"Total compensation package" means payment by the Village for employee salary, insurance benefits, pension, workers compensation, and uniform allowance.  In addition, the Act also includes vacation and sick days granted.

Annually, by the month of April, the fiscal year budget is approved by the Mayor and Board of Trustees.  The Village's fiscal year runs May 1st through April 30th.
