The Village of Round Lake is accepting applications for Public Works Employee Maintenance Worker 2 (advanced) with a starting pay of $17.62 per hour. This position is in the Streets Department and under the direct supervision of the Street Superintendent and Public Works Director. Employee performs a variety of maintenance tasks related to the preservation and upkeep of Village streets, parks, storm sewers, street lights, buildings, garages, and public property. Applicants must have a CDL Class B driver’s license and must pass a drug and alcohol test. Requires ability to lift and maneuver weights up to 100 pounds. In order to be considered, applicants must have black topping and snow plowing experience, and must complete a Village of Round Lake Employment Application which can be downloaded here (click on link below) or obtained at the Village Hall, 442 N. Cedar Lake Rd., Round Lake, IL 60073 (Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00 and Sat. 8:30-12:00).  Only originals will be accepted (no faxes or scans).
