The Special Events Committee will now meet at 6pm on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at the Village Hall prior to the regular board meeting. Planning is under way for our Arbor Day Celebration Event of 5/3/14, National Night Out Event of 8/5/14, and the Home Town Fest Event of 9/6/14. SWALCO Clothing and Textile Recycling Collections

The Village of Round Lake is teaming up with the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) in participating in recycling clothes and textiles. Round Lake’s Clothing and Textile bin will be located at the Village Hall Parking Lot at 442 N. Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake, IL 60073. Garage Sale Permits No Longer Required

The Village of Round Lake repealed the ordinance on Garage Sales at the Regular Board Meeting of July 1, 2013. Therefore, there is now no need to obtain a garage sale permit. There are no limits on how many sales are allowed; however, our Code Enforcement Department will ensure that there is no over activity of garage sales by anyone in the Village of Round Lake.  More ...

2013 Annual Water Quality Report

The Round Lake Annual Water Quality Report for the period of January 1 through December 31, 2012 is now posted on the Village Website. There was also a note in the June water bill informing residents that we would not be mailing out the printed report, but that we would have it posted on the website. ComEd's Outage Alerts program allows participants to report outages via text messaging.
