Warning Sirens

Although spring is always welcome, it usually also brings severe storms.  Tornado sirens are located throughout the Village and give warnings of approaching tornadoes.  A long steady siren lasting three to five minutes means the National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for our area.  An oscillating siren lasting three to five minutes indicates a tornado has been spotted.  Please take the proper precautions.

The sirens are tested on the first Tuesday of each month, usually around 10:00 a.m.
