Community Garden
The Community Garden is open to all residents of Round Lake. Please click on the icon below for more information.
Special Events
The Village holds Special Events throughout the year including Arbor Day (May), Home Town Festival (August 28), National Night Out (August), and a Tree Lighting Ceremony (early December). Please visit the Events links for more info. All residents are invited to attend.
Notary Services and Voter Registration
The Village offers notary services and voter registration at the Village Hall, Administrative Department. Please call ahead to ensure someone is available that performs these services.
Public Transportation
Pace
The Pace Bus Route 570 serves Round Lake commuters. This route connects to bus routes 565, 572, and 806. Dail-a-Ride is another convenient, affordable service provided by PACE for more information on Pace visit www.pacebus.com. or CLICK HERE for the informational flyer.
Metra
The MILWAUKEE DISTRICT/NORTH LINE (FOX LAKE TO CHICAGO) serves Round Lake commuters and the Metra station is located at the intersection of Route 134 and Cedar Lake Road. The Metra Agent hours are M-F 5:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Metra owns the station and lots. Metra determines the number of spaces at the station, while the Village maintains the lots for Metra. Parking is available daily on a first-come, first-serve basis for a fee of $1.50 a day. Payment can be made by dollar bills and coins at each lot's collection box or by purchasing a Quarterly Pass at the Village Hall of Round Lake at 442 N. Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake, IL. Quarterly Passes are $90 at the start of the quarter and thereafter the cost is prorated. The Village Hall accepts cash or check only.

METRA Permit Parking Only Lot
There is one designated parking lot for pass holders, that lot is located on Goodnow Blvd (off Route 134) and is known as the Goodnow Lot. Please note that there are only 46 parking spots at this lot, so if filled to capacity, pass holders can still park at the other lots.
