Dale Multerer - Trustee

Dale Multerer
Trustee

As a child, I would swim and fish in this area. When the time came to own a home, I thought of the Round Lake Area with its beautiful trees and many lakes. I knew this was where I wanted to raise my family. So, in 1994 I moved to Round Lake.

In April of 2001 I was elected to my first term as Trustee, serving for four years. Then in 2007 I was elected again to the Office of Trustee. When the Mayor called for an Economic Task Force, I answered the call. I was charged with both retail and commercial development as well as identifying the current and future needs of the Village. To this end, I am a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and still volunteer to help the Village in this cause.

In July of 2005, the Village Board appointed me to the Police and Fire Commission, and I am currently serving as its Chairman. Also, I am currently serving on the Hospital Task Force, to help bring the much needed Hospital to this area.

I did not forget the greater Round Lake Area. I am currently serving as a member of the Friends of the Round Lake Area Parks Foundation and am their Treasurer. I also believe in serving on Civic organizations. I have been a Girl Scout member for over 7 years and have been a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks for over 21 years, where I have served and am serving in many leadership rolls. I was also recently appointed to serve as the Director representative for the Village on the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Association Board.

My family includes my wife, Kathy, of 15 years and my 3 children ages, 15, 13 and 5. It is with my family’s support and my family in mind that I push for the future of Round Lake.
