Having grown up in the Round Lake Area visiting her Father’s real estate office, her Uncle at the Police Department, and having a street named after her; Trustee Dawn Simoncelli was excited to purchase her first home in Round Lake where she will forever have a connection.  She resides there with her best friend and partner Darren Jackson and their son.  They actively enjoy participating in local community events such as our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Hometown Fest.  They hope their son and future children will feel a sense of pride in their community, just as they do. 

Dawn has a strong background in the insurance industry having worked various roles within American Family Insurance from a Licensed Office Manager, to a small business owner as an Insurance Agent, and currently as an Agency Sales Management Assistant for all of the American Family Lake County agents.  In addition to being a Licensed Insurance Producer she has obtained an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and hopes to continue her studies further.

Looking forward to continually making the Village of Round Lake a better place for our families and businesses, is what motivates Dawn to serve as your Village Trustee!
