Sherry Perkowitz has been a Round Lake resident for nine years. She has a B.A. degree in Political Science/Public Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from National-Louis University. Sherry is a registered leader with the Girl Scouts Illinois Crossroads Council, a senior member of the Round Lake Area Park District Advisory council, a coach for the Avon Township Youth Softball Association and a member of the Streets of Summer Festival committee. She coordinates the village’s Arbor Day celebration and Leadership Day activities. Sherry lives in the Prairie Walk subdivision with her 4 children, John age 15, Rachel age 13, Emily age 11 and Abby age 9. Elected in 2003, Sherry is the chairman of the village's Finance Committee and the co-chair of the Facilities and Capital Assets Committee.
